My last post, about a recent AIC photography exhibit, reminded me of a another exhibit I saw a while back. Boston's MFA last year put on an exhibition of
Ansel Adams![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_vNbouVd9mAMHKx72NxIg5he96uuX7s_t50A2sXrc4_QUB50lQqmjWp4tBw1aTckiXNH-O-j3BzeS6WRnlb3o7g7gcvpzFekVvO2SXLUGtgz61H8X32a1nyX1BRKnH0iw=s0-d)
's work, simply titled
Ansel Adams. My previous impression of him, from the Ansel Adams posters that litter the walls of so many college dorms, was simply of a Yosemite National Park landscape (montainscape?) photographer. Seeing this show gave me a different perspective on Adams, one of the breadth and thoughtfulness of his work.
